These albums exhibit the types of photos I shoot. Each album has a different theme and a variety of photographic and post production styles I use.
I shoot in RAW and my workflow consists of importing from the camera into Adobe Lightroom 3. Most of my post production work is done in Lightroom, sometimes with the use of presets. If I can’t get the right look in Lightroom, off I go to Photoshop CS5. I will sometimes use Topaz Adjust, OnOne Photo Tools, or the Nik Software Suite to set the moods with grain, color, or black and white. I use Photomatix for my HDR images as it does a better job of blending then Photoshop.
Mare Island was decommissioned and parts of the base have been abandoned. Scavengers are tearing the existing buildings apart to obtain and other recyclables. This album documents the condition of the abandoned buildings. Suisun Valley, in Northern California, is a designated wine appellation. These photos were taken as part of a photo contest on Facebook to document winter in the Valley.
